The Column conveys order, symmetry and magnificence, much like the Grecian doric columns found in classical architecture.

The faceted surface of the fixture alludes to the fluting of columns on buildings and temples to create a sense of rhythm, which softly diffuses the light as it radiates into the space. As it can be arranged in segments of machine mould-blown glass cylinders, it can lengthen a space vertically or expand it horizontally.

The Monobloc serie designed by Francois Levy.

This serie is made of a concrete skeleton casted in a single block within a network of tubes. These thin tubes are both the mold and the model. They leave prints when uncasted. Spirales, reminding us of how the tubes were made, are left visible on the furniture skin like scars left by the tool.
