Spending time in Dunkeld, Birnam & Pitlochry at the weekend reminds me of the beautiful country we live in, even in a down pour!☔️ I’m lucky that my favourite business format of popping up allows me to see a fraction of those places. The big benefit of not being tied to a shop in one particular place. Maybe not quite London, Paris or New York granted, but I’ll settle for the big smoke of Edinburgh in just over 3 weeks time! Cannot wait to be back. Yes Edinburgh peeps, I have a ton load of new picks heading south to tempt you shop.withnoname then!😉🎉

Birnam Village Market at the hotly anticipated The Birnam Hotel, I’m in!😃👋🏻

The crowds came, the weather played ball & the atmosphere was simply super with a carefully selected pick of some of the best. I loved meeting lots of new faces & finally putting a face to the name for a few. Thanks to Katie, Fraser, Kim, Eric & the team. Cannot wait to see how the market grows. And if you missed it this time be sure to pop the dates in the calendar. The last Saturday of the month in September & October😉

The first ever Birnam Village Market is THIS SATURDAY 29th AUGUST & I’m delighted to be part of it. Along side a super line up I’m currently deciding what antique & vintage picks to pack, adding some fresh pieces making their debut outing!

If artisan goods, homegrown produce, antiques & street food all in the same unique setting is your bag get yourself there weekend. On from 11-3 I’m sure it’ll make for a great day out. Road trip anyone?!🚗🙌🏼

The added bonus is the will also be on in the village & so there will be plenty to explore. Top it off by a stroll across the river to Dunkeld & all that has to offer in beautiful Perthshire. One of my favourite places💛

…S U I T S Y O U S I R 🎩

This was a case of the piece speaking to me & when I turned to the back of the frame it was definitely 💯 deal done✔️ A one of a kind frame thoughtfully made with individual hinged openings to the rear to alternate each individual shot of these fabulous 1950s photographs (with additional angles provided). But these photos are no ordinary photos of suits. They are somewhat special having been hand finished in Chinese white of models designed & shown at the British Textile Exhibition by Kilgour & French. I LOVE it😍 And I couldn’t have been more delighted when it spoke to Dean & found its prefect new home. Off to adorn Dean & Colin’s dressing room in their fabulous home…the perfect spot to showcase this one-off piece🏡🎉

Couldn’t resist this c1930s statement carved lion when I spotted him on my travels recently. His geometric angular mane defines him as well as the chocolate brown paint work. Strong & punchy, just how I like a statement interior piece to be! I actually loved a few pieces this dealer had & one I sold today was in fact from her too. Sometimes I’m drawn to others buying eye 👁️ & am lucky to love a few pieces they have found. Thank you Liz 😍

these last few days on the hottest day of the year🥵 in search of new finds for my upcoming events (of which there’s quite a few😉🙌🏼) I’m always keen to continue searching out unique pieces to join the squad & keep it exciting for my customers. Their continued loyalty & support enables me to frequently replenish my stock to keep it looking & feeling fresh.

After a little downtime in two of my favourite haunts Harrogate & York, this week will be a busy one unpacking & deciding what pieces go where! As well as that the Pop-Up will be open at the end of the week for those who missed out last weekend. So pop in then if you’ve a window of opportunity😃

the P O P - U P will be open on SUNDAY 23 AUGUST from 11-5.

The shop is filled to the brim with oodles of goodies & I’m often told by some of you that you keep missing the dates set. So here’s a second chance this time! Be good to catch up then if you have a wee window in your busy calendar🗓️

I’m excited to share that I will be taking part in the first Birnam Village Market as part of the The Birnam Hotel brand new monthly event. This one will be on at the same time as the Birnam Highland Games so well worth a wee day trip if you’re looking for an adventure in a beautiful area. Just over the bridge from Dunkeld & their sister The Taybank, I cannot wait! 🎉

Well that was a fun Pop-Up. So many new faces & some manic periods. Laughing when I shouted from the lounge to come in to find customers in the hall saying “it’s a delivery driver!” But he played along & was half way up the hall with the parcel to get his photo! Had some lovely costume designer ladies here filming a new Netflix series Save Bon Accord Baths. Thanks to the equally fab Nicola Sirene Boutique for pointing them my way with my cards recently delivered🤗 And then some tourists finding the PP signs at the end of the street. Love to hear how newbies find me!

Always a delight to catch up with customers I’ve not seen in a wee while. I like how some of you dip in & out then get a shock that I’ve so much new pieces! Others come to each & every one in case they miss anything & ensure they get first dibs. Some so eager this time again they sit in their car & wait for opening. Which camp do you fall in?

I’m grateful for every purchase & the support I receive, which means I am lucky to be able to continually replenish my picks to keep it fresh & interesting. Part of the fun is in the picking & the same applies to me when buying. Sourcing doesn’t mean ordering it from a supplier but actually picking in person all over the country often at some ungodly hour! Love it 🥰

Tomorrow is the final day of this pop-up weekend. Do pop in if you’re looking for a different shopping experience & a pick me up treat or two. No one can begrudge you that surely😉
