What most people see is a green front door. What I see are the hours spent uncovering what was hidden beneath decades of paint, solving problems one layer at a time, and slowly bringing back something that deserved to be seen again.
Every project reminds me why I started doing this in the first place. Not just to paint, but to restore, to preserve, and to leave something better than I found it.
Older surfaces can sometimes be challenging and require ongoing care, but with the right approach, understanding, and attention, they can continue to age gracefully and remain part of our homes for many years to come.
This door is more than a change of colour. It’s a story of transformation - a connection between the history it carries, the character it once held, and the life it continues to be part of today.
