An oldie but representative of the the sneaky peeks of spring we’re having today and the longing to be out in the garden again. Not long, folks! 🤞🏼

FUNctional spaces - I’ve kept one of the hardest working space in the house - the bootroom both practical and fun by injecting a beautiful colour ( De Nimes) as seen peeking through here.

Saying goodbye to my lovely mantel installation by .bloomin.gathered this weekend. Sad to see this beautiful piece go but I’m ready to see the end of the cosy evenings and cold weather and welcome spring into my home!

We are in the final stages of this lovely garden room coming together. The client already owns the chesterfield, had chosen a paint colour ( drop cloth) and specified a little bit of an eclectic taste with a love for plants. We were restricted a little in the space with it being quite narrow and almost one full wall of crittal window. We needed to accommodate socialising as well as relaxing with the family taking in their garden views. I’ve had lovely feedback from the client on this so really hoping to see this come together in the next few weeks.

Not all rooms need to start from scratch and if you have sentimental items, it’s our job to work these seamlessly into your new space for years to come.

Finalising a beautiful living room scheme. Client brief was a classic scheme built for longevity. Texture, colour and calm. Window dressings and media wall will complete this space making it a perfect fit for relaxing as well as socialising.
The final cut of this moodboard derived from ideas that came from 3 separate moodboards presented to the client, picking her favourites from each to come up with her perfect room. Can’t wait to see this come together!

First new project of the year. A holiday home in the Highlands. My own. This property hasn’t been without its problems, constant developer issues, a reoccurring leak and some other costly niggles that can really take the shine off owning a bolt hole. We tried to save on decor budget by keeping big jobs to a minimum especially since it’s a new property however it’s time to inject some character into this small space so it can be ready for guests in the not too distant future.
By adding some colour and creating a feature of the log burner, this space will really come to life in no time. I have a full list of samples I’m working through for the property but first contender for this space is ‘The Trail’ - a greeny grey that will work beautifully with the amazing views we have.

Creating a cosy yet sophisticated space for this family home where the grown ups can retreat to a space of their own. I design the foundations for you to build on. Layout, furniture placement, product specifications are my bag but only you, the client, can bring that personal touch through family photos, heirlooms and sentimental items. Of course, I can do that side of things too, a full styling package - but it’s also important for me to know when to step back and allow my clients to leave their personal mark on their newly designed home 🫶🏻
