Had a fun day yesterday sat at Partrishow Chapel Plein air sketching with soft pastels. Was a lovely day and got inspired by poetry night at the Melville Centre the night before 🤣. Safely say my body is aching today which is why I find Plein Air hard, cold weather and inflammation don’t mix. It was a great day though. Thought I would be alone up there but as soon as someone left someone else pulled up, and chatted with me 🤣

Some paintings in the exhibition have been sold so if interested in purchasing some art then get yourself along to Brecon theatre this weekend. 15 artists whom are very talented.

Exhibition is on the very top floor and walk all the way through the top floor to the back room. Have a browse, then go get a coffee and cake downstairs in the cafe, maybe sit next to the canal. Only on until the 19th October.

So this weekend I made two necklaces, one for myself with a new bind rune which I designed for the current stage of my life. And a commission piece with a business logo.

I use Yew which I reclaim from local churches when they trim the Yews. Then use a pyrography pen to scorch in design. The pendant is then hung on leather cord which I have tied two barrel knots to create the sliding knots.

Autumn discs, not convinced I am enjoying them but is making me learn to do things I am not keen on and sticking with it.
