Draig the dog had a good walk this morning so he's allowed me to go open the Yarnhouse! We're open 10am to 4pm today and still have some of popular our wonderful ice cream yarn in stock!

Happy heatwave Tuesday! Despite the heat we’re open today in Abertillery between 09:30am and 4pm. We will be closed for one hour today at 11:30 due to an appointment.
Come along and grab an icecream yarn or stock up on your tshirt yarns. -thick wools are not recommended in today’s heat!

In July we will be starting a new knitting club for the many customers and friends locally that use vintage knitting machines. It is a chance to share ideas, techniques and projects.
We’re currently thinking on a Wednesday evening between 6pm & 8pm but before we set these times, would this suit you?

We are looking for your treasured knitted and crochet pieces to feature in our upcoming exhibition, Knitted with Love.

Whether it’s a cwtchy jumper your Nan made for you, a crochet blanket passed down through generations, It could even a handmade creation you’re especially proud of, we’d love to hear the story behind it and it in the exhibition.
