Ani wanted painting of birds, which considering birds are one of my most favourite specialist subjects I’ve never really painted any! So challenge accepted… I really hoped that they fit in well with her dad’s paintings and it looks like they do ❤️ thanks for the opportunity Ani Long

Get out and paint, get out of your comfort zone and do something spontaneous and spectacular 🤩

Don’t think just feel…..Painting what you see rather than what you feel can often make you focus too much on the details...

Don’t think just feel…..
Painting what you see rather than what you feel can often make you focus too much on the details…..getting out of your head and finding how you feel can help you be more free with your brush strokes. I remember as a child I loved creating, not thinking about what I was drawing or painting, I just enjoyed the process of getting the colours onto the page, the different marks I could make to create something. So don’t forget to play around with different techniques and medium it’ll loosen your flow and reconnect you to your inner child…what will you create today? 😊❤️
