Design signed off on this amazing family home in Surrey. Strange but i have had to work up two black kitchen designs in the pass few months so this must be on trend. Open plan spaces are still very much in demand and you can understand why with busy lives and demanding schedules! Making an inviting space off the kitchen area where the whole family can engage and relax is paramount.

As an experienced designer we need to be able to implement a plethora of design styles and looks. Not one client comes to us with the same vision or brief and that, to be totally honest, is why I love what I do so much! Whether it's, Japandi, country, or hotel vibes, it is our job to deliver this. I have noticed of late that minimalistic houses have become increasingly popular due to many compelling reasons.

Firstly, their clean lines and uncluttered spaces create a sense of calm and order, which is especially appealing in today's fast-paced, chaotic world.

The simplicity of minimalistic design also emphasizes functionality and efficiency, with each element serving a clear purpose and contributing to a cohesive aesthetic.

Additionally, minimalistic homes often incorporate sustainable practices and materials, appealing to environmentally conscious consumers. The focus on quality over quantity in minimalism leads to the selection of durable, timeless pieces, which can be more cost-effective in the long run.

Progress photos of one of my lovely projects in Birmingham. Master suite slowly coming together. Furniture delayed which seems to be more and more common of late, however it's starting to take shape. So much so that the client wanted a temporary bed in there to try their new room out!
