Leading UK Manufacturers of Art Light Boxes in the UK & LED Light Panels

While the t

echnology behind LED lighting solutions has changed dramatically over recent years, typical installations have followed traditional methods of attaching bulbs to various points around the room and simply increasing the number of bulbs to gain the most consistent light levels. We focus on innovative light sources that include thin, flat and low energy consumption technology! At Lite-House we're taking the latest developments in LED lighting and changing how the technology is implemented - creating Led Light boxes and panels that deliver exceptional uniformity across their entire surface. Our products are not only suitable for light boxes, the led technology can be used to back light any substrate. reception desks, lift cars, splashbacks and many more. If you have an application that is difficult to illuminate, give us a call.

Remembering the Fallen: on this day in 1917, Private Ennie Clarke, 2nd/6th Battalion, the Duke of Wellington’s (West Riding) Regiment, was killed in action on the Somme.
One of sixteen children of a gas-fitter, he attended Broughton Street School in Skipton, Yorkshire. After leaving school he apprenticed as a bookbinder and later was employed by the Skipton Stationery Company, before enlisting at the age of eighteen in November of 1915.
Private Clarke was killed by a shell while in the trenches at Hawthorn Ridge, west of Beaumont Hamel, less than a month after arriving in France. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing of the Somme, and is also commemorated on the Skipton war memorial. His eldest brother Tom had been killed in action early in 1915, serving with the Alexandra, Princess of Wales’ Own (Yorkshire Regiment), but thankfully their two other serving brothers survived the war.
In 1968 Private Clarke’s British War Medal was found on the moors by a schoolboy, who picked it up thinking it was a coin. He kept it for fifty years, until he saw a notice on the Skipton community page about the Clarke brothers, and noticed that Ennie Clarke’s service number matched that on the medal. He returned the medal to the Clarke brothers’ great-niece, who had only lived 400 yards from him for the previous thirty years. No-one knows how the medal came to be on the moors, but how fortuitous that it was found, regarded as a treasure, and eventually returned to the family.
Ennie, from Skipton, was 19 years old.

Stunning aluminium lightbox with Matt black sides and a polished face made for the clever and his private client in Oslo. The image is a montage of studio dance images to Brazilian street music at a slow shutter speed. This piece contains an RGBW led panel. The white give a much better range of pastel colours and a true white when needed.
