When one door closes, another opens.

Big news: this week we’ve been busy packing up Sarah’s family home. Yes, we’ve also had the wedding of the century for recently, so this move couldn’t have come at a busier time!

With family in tow and a clear plan, today we’re moving the last of the boxes into our new home – slightly smaller, yes, but certainly more manageable. While we’re excited for this next chapter, we’ll be sad to leave behind some of the special features of this beautiful mid-century house.

We’ll be sharing more details next week and taking you along on the journey as we settle into our new space. We hope you’ll follow along and discover with us that the best things really do come in small(er) packages and that change is important to move forward ♥️

There’s something timeless about designing with wallpaper that carries a story.

We love using the Folklore and Paper Trail collections by Lewis & Wood because they bring depth and character into a space, whether we’re creating a layered traditional interior or adding warmth and texture to a more contemporary scheme.

Folklore draws on historic American stencil patterns, giving rooms a romantic, collected feel, while Paper Trail references ancient rock carvings and natural forms, creating an earthy and artistic atmosphere. Together, they prove that heritage-inspired design can still feel fresh, modern and incredibly liveable.

As interior designers, we often use wallpapers like these to soften clean architectural lines, add narrative to minimalist spaces, or enhance the richness of period homes without making them feel overly formal.

It’s Friday, so here’s a little rundown and reminder from the last few days ⭐️

We’ve been busy sorting through the garage ahead of an exciting new project, and we’ve found plenty of items that deserve a second life instead of heading to waste.

We’ll be starting to sell a few bits soon, but more importantly, we’re focused on reusing, recycling and keeping things environmentally friendly.

A quick reminder to support a more sustainable way of clearing out, keep things out of landfill and make reuse the first option 🌱
