Just been asked why there is no heating in the shop? I pointed out that as it is a very large premises it would not be cost effective to heat it and should I do so the shop would not exist as the cost would be too high.
I pointed out in the winter people normally wear warm clothes and as a consequence they would not feel the cold in my shop….? 🤣🤣

In the coming weeks we have LOADS more ‘new’ items for the store so there will be a LOT of reduced prices on some of our old stock….pop in for a look!

Whilst I have never enjoyed being a retailer I really do love FAGINS DEN!
Checking through our books it’s wonderful to see that we have sold something every day since opening (occasionally it might be something small but money changes hands?)
We have now got a wonderful team who have all made our store something I am very proud of!
I will tomorrow post loads more pictures of the antique, vintage, nice modern and unusual!
There is new stock arriving every day!

Whilst I always enjoy ‘busy Saturdays’ today was an exception and very unexpected so now at home putting my very aching feet up! Thank you Kay Britcher for stopping by to make me a cuppa! (I really did need it!) I would also like to thank my very dear ‘old’ friend (Candlestick) Pam for watching over the shop whilst I was attending to ‘queries’ and ‘purchases’!
FAGINS is now a very happy place to be and an absolute pleasure to work in! Next week (if I get time!) I will post some of the hundreds of items we have in our very large store!
