Nikki McWilliams is a designer and maker, based in Dundee. Her brand of quirky homeware and accessories- Nikki McWilliams design is the product of a lifelong love of having a nice cup of tea and a biscuit. After graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee with a degree in Fine Art, Nikki found herself leaning towards design. Using traditional techniques such as drawing, screen-printing and sewing as well as digital methods she creates her own brand of playful, biscuity design in her studio in Scotland.

Let’s talk about the recent updates to Etsy’s AI usage policy 💁🏻‍♀️🤖

There’s a LOT to unpack on this one, but I’m talking namely about the new requirement for “unedited” photos and how I think it could play out.

If you’re a buyer, I would love to hear about how AI imagery affects how you shop online (because I know for me it has made me sooo wary 👀🤪)

It’s getting chillier (at least here in Scotland) and I could not be happier about the prospect of snuggling under blankets and cups of tea by the fire!

We’ve got a few of our super heavy and snuggly brushed cotton malted milk blankets left in stock- this will be our last batch for the year. So if you’re hoping to get one in time for the festive season or before, now is a very good time to do so.

Each one is woven in the UK using recycled yarns, before being brushed to the softest cosiest texture and finished with a blanket stitch.
