NINA D is an award winning luxury tableware brand based in Cheshire with Nina’s hand illustrated designs, inspired by her Swedish upbringing and family traditions. I produce high quality homeware products inspired by my Swedish upbringing and family traditions. Each design is named after a person or a place close to my heart in Sweden. Meticulously hand illustrated, this collection features a rang

e of bespoke patterns. Unique textures within each ornately layered, two-dimensional design. I have lived in England for twenty five years and today I live in Altrincham. My range includes large and medium placemats with matching round and square coasters. My designs have also been produced on Swedish birch wood serving trays by the renowned tray manufacturer Åry Trays. The linen napkins and table runners are handmade by a small family business in Lithuania, using 100% flax linen with my brand name beautifully hand embroidered in rose gold. All my products have included sustainably sourced materials which is important to me. My homeware range captures the essence of Scandinavian tradition where dining is cherished and a time to re-connect with loved ones. My Swedish family take great pride in setting the table and their inspiration is at the heart of my exquisite range. Each order comes beautifully gift wrapped with a personal handwritten note. A new size has arrived for Amaryllis Rilona 🌸

I’m delighted to introduce the Amaryllis Rilona Medium Placemat, now available in the Nina D online store.

Inspired by the warm pink amaryllis flowers of my childhood home in Stockholm, Amaryllis Rilona is a design that feels particularly close to my heart. It captures the colour, warmth and joy of those beautiful Swedish family memories, translated into a timeless floral design for the table.

Now available in three sizes:

Medium - 29x21cm

Large - 38x29cm

Large Round - 31cm diameter

Each placemat is handmade in Britain using sustainably sourced eucalyptus board 0.5cm thickness and finished to be both beautiful and wonderfully practical.

This weekend is a Bank Holiday here in England and whether it is two days or three days, I hope you will have a lovely break.

Nearing the end of August with September almost here, there is a magical shift in the air.

Earlier this year I worked on completing my newest design Viktor & Maria (my beloved grandparents) and although a little behind schedule, I’m so pleased it is completed.

This weekend I plan to create table settings with the different size placemats and list this collection on our website.

Viktor & Maria is a floral piece, inspired by the huge mock orange bush that was by their house on the Swedish island Gotland.

I hope you will enjoy this new collection and its special story.

Home is where your ❤️ is.

Stockholm, you have been truly magical this August. We absolutely loved our glamping Siggesta Hotell & Konferens and continued slow living at our summerhouse Skogshyddan.

Time has been spent with dear family and friends but most importantly, with my Lukas.

An exciting last day is planned with Jessica Hill Holm | Executive Coach & Advisor whom i worked with last year. At long last we are meeting in real life and joining forces again as Jessica has some ideas for another project. I absolutely can’t wait.

Our beautiful Amaryllis Rilona Collection.

Soon available in medium size placemats measuring 29x21cm. Handcrafted in Britain with a sturdy 0.5cm eucalyptus board, cork backing for protecting your table surface and a high lacquer melamine finish. Heat and scratch resistant.

Our delivery arrived to the studio just before flying home to Stockholm so these will be listed upon our return.

I think these will be stunning for the festive season and gifting.

Nordic Coastal when seasons start to change. 🌾

That feeling when summer slowly shifts, ever so gently. For my table, I lean towards warm neutrals, amber and gold. Pre washed soft linen and candles, lots of candles.

This design is a hand painted watercolour piece of the limestone rock formations along the coastline of Sweden’s largest island Gotland. My childhood memories are skimming stones by the shore, spending endless summers with my grandparents Viktor and Maria who lived on the island.

This particular rock formation is called Kaffepannan which translates to “The Coffee Pot”
