Another wedding this week....Paul and Sarah got in touch with me quite recently. They were planning a small elopement in Morpeth, just a handful of family and friends but still wanted some beautiful flowers for the day! "Autumn colours" was really the only brief. No problem! 🥰I hope they had the best day ever ☺️🧡🍂🍁

To be honest, I hadn't expected today's wedding fair at The Alnwick Garden Weddings to be all that busy, considering the terrible weather forecast but I was proved very wrong!! So many couples to meet and chat with! What a great day 🥰I chose to mirror the changing colours in the garden and go full Autumn of course! 🍁🍂🧡

Two weddings and a wedding fair over this weekend and the weather forecast is pretty dire! 😭Never mind, they do say that wet knots can't be untied and that rain on your special day is considered a good omen. Is that just to make us feel better? Who knows! 😂Personally I love a rainy wedding photo, they bring such incredible atmosphere, like this gorgeous shot of Anna and Max by Dru Dodd Photography at Newton Hall, Bold, Romantic & Fantastical 😍

I remember this day like it was yesterday, even though it was 7 years ago!! I travelled a bit further than usual for this lovely couple, Emily and Andrew, who married, over the border at beautiful Paxton House .
