My recent trip to Palm Beach for the Kips Bay Show House 2026 design event was both quick and enjoyable, brimming with decorative details and design inspiration. I also took the opportunity to visit LaBoomBoom, where I enjoyed another interesting form of art.

What a remarkable Monday morning it was as we installed two custom silk and wool handmade rugs. One of the rugs weighed 750 pounds and required the efforts of five delivery personnel for its installation. The other rug was a custom design created by me, featuring colors and scale tailored to my exact specifications. It was a dream to not only realize my design vision but also to have it crafted with such exceptional quality and materials. Overall, it was a fantastic day on the job!

Today marks an exciting installation as we implement custom floating bistro shelving to complement the bespoke cabinetry I designed for this elegant yet functional butler’s pantry.

What an utterly magnificent day at Sanderson’s Mill! The tour of the entire fabric and wallpaper facility, observing the intricate process from concept to completion, was nothing short of an enlightening and enriching experience.

Oh, deGuornay! Today’s event was simply divine. If I hadn’t already been utterly enamored with your brand, I surely am now. The pleasure derived from painting my own piece of porcelain was unparalleled, and my appreciation for the painstaking effort required to create a single piece has grown immeasurably. I am profoundly grateful to have participated in this exclusive design event with Design Destination London. I eagerly anticipate returning home to share the wealth of insights I’ve acquired with my discerning clients.

Day 1 Design Destination London 2026| what an amazing immersive design experience this has been already! The morning started off with meeting the Countess of Carnarvon of & hearing many fascinating details & stories of its deep and rich history. Was able to see the original textile archives behind one of my favorite brands and try my own hand any embroidering one of the patterns I have specified personally over the years in my very own projects. Cannot wait to see what the next 2 days bring.
