Absolutely love this colour Incarnadine by Farrow & Ball and the warm complementary colour Dimity chosen by our lovely customer on this recent job.
A fine example on this job of preparation really is key, stripping of wallpaper and skimming ceiling & walls with some damp proofing.
Good use of colour drenching on this job also, nice little calm area away from it all.

I am currently restoring a unit for a customers kitchen, doors have been removed from upper part and top of bottom half has been stripped back to wood, in the preparation it has bared some high edges all over, what would you do?

1. Paint Unit colour of PPG1112-3 Only Oatmeal?

Or

2. Distress further and seal with Matt Varnish?

Fantastic use of a wide range of products for this decorating project.

Ceiling & walls with a thermal Ghosting problem!
Polyripple(artex) ceiling skimmed over with added Ceramic Microspheres to add thermal insulating properties, this was also used in the paint which makes the paint extra durable too.

External walls were lined with Wallrock Thermal Liner for insulation and lined with the Wallrock Fibreliner and painted with Johnstone's Trade Paints Obliterating Matt with added Ceramic Microspheres for that extra Thermal Insulation & Durability. Woodwork finished Johnstones AquaGuard.
Accent wall papered with Belgravia Decor Allegra Black wallpaper.

Tapes pulled and re-done finishing all with Johnstone's Trade Paints new Obliterating Brilliant White Matt with a Class 1 scrub rating to all walls, their Ultra flat Matt to ceilings & the Highly Durable AquaGuard system to the white woodwork and RAL7016 Anthracite to grey windows & bifold doors.
