Back open!

After a couple of days away, I’m back in the shop and it’s looking fuller than ever!

Every corner is packed with beautiful things, from new arrivals to handmade favourites, and lots of pieces I’ve been working hard on behind the scenes. There’s so much to discover and I honestly don’t think the shop has ever looked this stocked since opening!

Today was a lampshade making day in the shop! Slowly building a small collection available to buy ‘off the shelf’ over time. Each one is printed and handmade - and there’s no rushing bit that’s for sure!

A wee heads up - closed for the 2 days below. Special occasions & appointments that must be kept! Google hours are always up to date, sorry if you were planning on visiting on either of these dates. But hopefully see you soon and here 12-5 the other days apart from Sundays 😊

This Saturday (16th) there is a bike race taking place and the Bealach is closed for a short while. We will be OPEN 12-5 if you find yourself in Applecross and time to kill whilst you wait for the cyclists to disperse 😊 Good luck to everyone taking place in the race! 🙌🏻 🚴‍♀️ May the weather be kind to you all 🤞🏼

🚴 Temporary Road Closure – Bealach Na Ba 🚧

Please be aware that The Highland Council has approved a Temporary Traffic Prohibition for the C1087 Bealach Na Ba Road, on:
🗓 Saturday 16 May 2026
⏰ 10:00am – 12:30pm
This temporary closure is required in the interests of public safety while a cycle event takes place.
📍 Road affected
The closure applies to the entire length of the C1087 Bealach Na Ba Road, from:
its junction with the A896 Shieldaig–Kishorn–Lochcarron Road,
to its junction with the C1091 Applecross–Shieldaig (Coast) Road
(approximately 16.5km).

✅ Access during the closure
Access will only be permitted at the discretion of the event organisers for:
Emergency Services
Pedestrians
Cyclists
Vehicles requiring access to/from premises

🚗 Alternative routes will be available and clearly signposted.

My shop, Applecross Interiors & Gifts is turning ONE! 🎉 Clement Design is turning TWENTY!!!! 😲

It’s been 1 year since I opened the shop - after 19 years of printing on the kitchen table (and my studio in the big house for a few years too!)
I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported me, shopped here and recommended me along the way — it really means so much!

If you’ve been meaning to pop in to the shop but haven’t had the chance yet, this is the perfect time to come! If you’ve been thinking about ordering blinds or getting started on a project, now’s a great time to do it.

Hello all from sunny Applecross! ☀️

If you’re planning a stop here, why not check out my shop on Applecross Bay, I’m celebrating my 1 year anniversary being open! I sell lots of local Applecross maker’s crafts as well as my own designs in t-shirts, gifts & hand printed homewares ☺️

Situated right beside me is also Applecross Heritage Centre which is worth a visit, run all by volunteers and has a wealth of information on local history!

Something that I do from my studio and shop in Applecross is print my t-shirts by hand. So, if you don’t see your size, just ask - I may be able to print it whilst you wait! 👌🏼 You can always have a coffee whilst you wait - or pick it up later in the day. Prices start at £20 😊☀️ T-Shirt weather is here - quick, before it goes again 🤣
