Our ceramic Smokies are made here in Arbroath. Slip cast using a mould created from a pair of Smokies - a smoked fish protected under PGI Protected Geographical Index, a technique passed down generations.

We use special stoneware glazes to capture the texture and depth of this story, making beautiful cultural celebrations!

Smokies are available for purchase from but if you’re further a field, drop us a message 🧡

First Clay class with Port Kitchen in Arbroath - Ceramic Jewellery- this can be brooches, pendants, earrings…

There will be a selection of colours and glazes available, lots of fittings in a variety of shapes and styles.
