Happy Days! 😁 Finally getting back to some kind of normality at long last after surgery, diagnosis etc. Always a concern where cancer is involved, but positive attitude and moving forward is, for me anyway, only way I can go. 😁 So getting my other wee business up and running again first, then back to creating and hopefully, get organised to start thinking and planning classes etc as promised. I'm a bit rusty after 8 months, but will keep you posted. 😁

Hiya All! Hope you're all tickety boo. ❤
That's me just over a month post surgery now, and healing well but still a way to go yet. Probable further treatment to come - find out soon, some choices to make too, but staying positive. 🙏😁
Can't thank you enough for kind wishes and support, truly means a lot and is a million % appreciated.
Still on track mentally for reopening at some point early 2026 all being well, and having time..too much really, gives me chance to explore ideas for classes and a way forward for the future of my wee Potting Shed.
Look forward to welcoming you once again at some point.😁👊
In the meantime, take care, be gentle with yourselves and happy creating in whatever form it might take.

Got this wonderful feedback from the lovely 'Anna' about my 5 of my 6 wee pieces! Makes me truly feel great when I know someone, out there, loves my work. Not sure how many people appreciate how that makes any creative person feel.. simply wonderful is the answer, and well worth the months and years of training and research, failures, many pounds worth of paint swiped off, or on the floor for disasters which still happen, 🤞 but less though now 🤣🤞🤞 The..'I.m giving up' feelings, throwing in the towel etc. These wonderful words makes it all worth while. Thank you dearest 'Anna'. I.m happy you're happy. Hugs n love ❤❤ My heart sings! 😁

SOLD - Wee Mr Mousie looking for a Forever Home for Christmas! ❤❤

Does anyone remember the story of the town mouse and the country mouse? Well (wee mr mousie - un-named so far as new adopted parents will name him..🤞🤞) , has found a true love and all set for his 1st date.
Good luck for him he found some discarded chocolate which he dipped his strawberries in to pop in his basket as a wee gift to his 'lady friend'. He.s even got his new Harris Tweed bowtie on! Very posh indeed!

Entirely hand built and sculpted with multi media internal armature, then over sculpted from Air Dry Clay. Hand painted and topcoated. Whiskers additions (each one by hand), and eyes and nose only have been topcoated with resin to reflect the light as their beautiful eyes naturally do. I decided against painting 'false reflections' - allowing the resin topcoat on only these to pick up the light and reflections naturally.
Around 4 months work on and off as each section dried and cured.

Handmade from clay..wee, minature half acorn basket with tiny clay strawberries 'dipped in chocolate', also minature posy of flowers and 3rd posy of 'imitation' heather.
I purposely did not attach anything permanent to his wee front feeties so that you can chop and change and add your own things with each season. Don.t be scared to interact with him. He.d love it.. and I.m sure his lady friend would enjoy different gifts. 😁

Mounted onto a tile base, which has been embellished with clay, natural items and real living moss which draws moisture from the air so requires no tending. Felt underneath on base.

£75 plus P&P (to be discussed with customer)

Stunning, huge (16 inch diameter), triple layered freeblown glass plate with my own design handcut and personally sandblasted.
The plate has 3 layers with top layer in hyacinth, then amber then clear (which is white when sandblasted)
I completly masked off the entire plate then drew my design. Next step was to hand cut through the stencil following the outline of design which took forever with a scalpel.

I then followed my planned design for which parts would be which colour and painstakingly uncovered each section to sandblast through the layers to achieve the effects and desired colours and shading.
Being very heavy and large made the process quite difficult and actually tiring, as I held it with one hand and arm whilst using gun in the other. Without total concentration and focus, it would have been easy to make a mistake, but you only get one shot at it and there is no covering up or fixing mistakes.
Each time a section had been completed it was covered back up and onto the next.
On completion it was sent for polishing.

Completly unique in all ways and a one-off! From the handmade freeblown plate, to my own design and my own interpretation colour wise of that design.
A true statement piece.❤

I.m soooo proud of it and hope to have access to sandblasting equipment again to continue this magical process! I absolutely love glass in all ways. Previous pieces have travelled to Europe and US where one plate there has arrived in a spiritual retreat and is being used as a 'focus' for meditation sessions! How brilliant! 😁❤
