Went back to a job today to sort a little bit of grout around the window reveal… and finally got to see the finished bathroom properly.

I’d only been brought in to do the tiling on this one, so I’d never actually seen the completed project until now.

And this is half the reason I love taking on full bathroom refurbishments. There’s something really satisfying about seeing everything come together from the first strip out, right through to the finished room.

The tiles are obviously a big part of what we do, but seeing how they work with the bathroom furniture, sanitaryware, lighting and all the finishing touches makes such a difference.

Really pleased with how this one has turned out 👌🏻

It’s also why we love what we’re doing with J.C Creations | Bespoke Interior Design | South Yorkshire Being able to take a bathroom from the initial ideas and design, through the renovation and all the way to the finished space means we get to see the whole transformation rather than just one part of it.

This one wasn’t a JC Creations project, but it’s a great example of why we enjoy being involved from start to finish.

✨ When every detail works together, the result speaks for itself. ✨

This ensuite is a perfect example of how a carefully chosen feature tile can completely transform a space.

Instead of tiling every wall with a bold pattern, we used this stunning botanical tile to create a feature within the shower, carrying it seamlessly into the recessed window sill and across the toilet boxing. This creates one continuous design that instantly draws your eye.

The remaining walls and floor were finished in a soft neutral grey porcelain tile, allowing the feature wall to take centre stage while keeping the room feeling bright, spacious and timeless.

To finish it all off, brushed brass fittings add warmth and elegance, perfectly complementing the darker tones of the feature tile.

It’s these little design decisions that take a bathroom from ordinary to something truly special.

✨ Upper Floor Bathroom Complete ✨

There’s something about an attic bathroom that just feels special…

Sloping ceilings and awkward spaces can often make these rooms difficult to design and tile, but with the right layout and careful planning they can become one of the best rooms in the house.

For this project we installed large format marble effect porcelain tiles throughout the walls and floor, creating a seamless finish that makes the room feel bright, spacious and luxurious.

The contrasting matt black fixtures finish everything off perfectly:

🖤 Matt black rainfall shower
🖤 Modern framed shower enclosure
🖤 Matching heated towel rail
🖤 Illuminated mirror

One of the details we really like is how the tiles have been cut precisely around the sloping ceiling. Taking the time to get these cuts perfect makes all the difference to the finished result.

It’s another bathroom completed with clean lines, minimal grout joints and attention to every detail.

Popped back to our commercial project yesterday to finish grouting the skirting, as the room was full of boxes on our last day on site.

The team were busy with the final clean and preparations, getting everything ready for use, and it’s great to see the project coming together so well. 👏

This will be a fantastic space for employees, providing a modern canteen, washroom facilities, and a dedicated training area for years to come.

We’re proud to have played a part in delivering this project and seeing the transformation from start to finish. Thank you to everyone involved.

Another little commercial project underway and I’m really looking forward to seeing this one finished 🙌🏻

This one means a lot as it’s for one of my good friends who’s been with me since I made the move up north 💙 Watching him build this project from the ground up has been quality to see and I’m proud to be a part of it.

Big format floor tiles now all laid, perfectly lined through the space and already transforming the feel of the unit 👌🏻 Now onto the next stage and bringing the full vision to life.
