David Neill Mica Home & DIY A local family owned Home and DIY retail business for over 30 years! We offer a wide range of cookware, cleaning products, garden products and home furniture.

And of course...FORK HANDLES David originally setup the business with a close friend Neil back in 1985. They owned a smaller DIY store within the town but outgrew the premises in the summer of 1988. They relocated to Compton Street and renamed the business as ’David Neill’. Neill left the business a couple of years later to pursue other interests, but David stayed on through the years. There have been many changes on Ashbourne’s high street over the past 30 years, the town has expanded and brought in competition from the large national chains on an out-of-town retail park, and the emergence of internet shopping now means the high street is a quieter place. David retired in 2017 but his two sons Mark and Jordan will carry on the business in a similar fashion that is proved so popular with local people and tourists over the many years. David Neill strives to excel in customer service and offer a great range of home and garden products at often unbeatable prices. And their knowledgeable staff are always on hand to give their expert advice when needed. We have four main principles:

Quality - We only supply trusted quality
products that our customers can rely on. Customer Service - We are committed to
devoting time and outstanding service to every customer who enters our store. Knowledge - We pride ourselves on excellent knowledge
of our products which gives us the ability to best serve our customers. Family - As a family run business we are
dedicated to the local area and our customers.
