Misted units replaced in Hythe – warmer rooms this winter 🔥
The double-glazed units in this pair of painted timber casement windows had failed and were streaming with condensation. We fitted new made-to-measure sealed units in the existing timber frames and kept the traditional black handles and stays, so the windows look just as they did, only clear again.
When a unit mists up, the unit can no longer remove the moisture build up between the internal and external glass, this is usually created by the breakdown of the perimeter seal of the glass. Replacing the glass unit will keep your bills down and your toes warm without breaking the bank.
