🩷 Behind every ball of yarn, there’s a person. And behind every creation, there’s a story. 🩷

I received these beautiful photographs from one of our lovely KMH customers. A gorgeous chunky chenille blanket made in Lincoln City FC colours for a young football fan! ❤️🖤🤍

But it wasn’t just the blanket that touched me. It was the story she shared alongside it.

She’s currently making blankets to sell to help raise funds for her niece, Katie, who is just 31 years old and facing stage 4 bowel cancer for the third time. Her family are fundraising for treatment in Germany. 💔

And this is exactly why human connection is so important to me at Knit Me Harder Co.

I don’t want KMH to be just another online yarn shop.

I want to know the people buying my yarn. I want to see what you’re creating, hear your stories, celebrate your achievements and, when life gets difficult, hopefully use this little community we’re building to make a difference.

Because you’re not just an order number to me. You’re the reason KMH exists. 🩷

Sometimes we’re making blankets for comfort. Sometimes we’re making gifts filled with love. And sometimes we’re creating something in the hope of helping someone we love.

It’s so much more than yarn. It’s people, connection and community. 🧶

Just LOOK at what these lovely ladies created at our latest Knit Me Harder Co. chunky blanket workshop at Boughton Aluph Iron Room 😍

From a pile of ridiculously chunky chenille yarn to these gorgeous, squishy creations — all made using nothing but their fingers!

There was plenty of chatting, a little head-scratching, some delicious grazing boxes and a whole lot of chunky goodness. 😂

And those smiles at the end? THAT is why I love doing these workshops! 🥹💗

🎃🧶 PUMPKINS, PATIENCE & A FEW GIGGLES! 💜

Well, look what we made!! 😍🎃

Yesterday was another Knit Me Harder adventure, this time turning gorgeous chunky chenille yarn into these fabulous autumn pumpkins!

And didn’t they turn out beautifully?! 🥰

There were a few moments of concentration, a little head-scratching, plenty of laughter and that wonderful moment when it all started coming together! 😂

One of my favourite things about these workshops is seeing everyone put their own little twist on their creations. Same yarn, same basic technique, but every pumpkin has its own personality!

A massive thank you to the lovely ladies who joined me. It was an absolute pleasure spending the afternoon getting creative with you all. 💜

And yes, you really can make all this with your fingers – no knitting needles required! 🧶

I’m already looking forward to more workshops, more creations and probably a few more giggles along the way!
