Just to make this clear abit more to customers or new customers..

When the fitters are there to fit your flooring and only your flooring we are not joiners and start having to trim all your doors..

With new underlay and carpets building up the floor we tend to have to take doors off to install the new flooring..
You then have to get either a joiner or a local trusty handyman to trim the bottom of your doors..

Nowa days especially new builds the way they make them the doors are nearly touching the floor let alone that’s trying to get underlay under..

We take doors of to get the job done..
I get messages every single day saying why has my door been took of etc etc

We did a new build last week and had to take every single door of in the house..
This customer then got funny about it which is no need what so ever as it just stalls the job and gives the fitters more work.. to then deduct £500 of the balance..

Every single flooring shop and fitters do the exact same.
You may get a fitter who will offer to cut doors but will charge £25 a door etc, so you can imagine that all adds up..

We are not joiners we are floor fitters..

It’s just a polite notice that’s all
