Lodgers, it’s been a long time coming, but finally the full staircase reveal is here. .designs staircases have gone above and beyond to create us the most dreamy, bespoke staircase 🤎 Everything about this staircase was curated, elevated and bespoke, to the vision I had in mind 👏 I wanted a classic American feel to the staircase, the deep wood and knuckle spindles have achieved this perfectly. Classic and timeless 👌🤎

Hey guys, so I wanted to point this out, in regard to colours looking different to what you see on my page. I know a few people have reached out and said when they have painted “goose feathers” it looks different to what mine does in my house. But it can all depend on these factors 🤓
- brightness of your bulbs
- colour temp of your bulbs
- flooring colour
- incoming natural daylight

If you’re wanting “goose feathers” to look super neutral like mine, I would recommend. Flooring that has a neutral/green undertone, and bulbs with a colour temp of 4000k. Don’t get them too bright too. By doing this it will give you the perfect neutral beige 👍

Guys, the season has finally changed, so it’s officially time to start showing off our new faux furs!! 🐻

This is an introduction to 3 of our new throws, which come in three brand-new tones, chocolate, moss and khaki. They have a stunning waffle design, with a mini wave pattern cut into the fur. One question I get asked a lot is about the paint colour that we have used throughout the house. It’s a shade, called “goose feathers” . The best way to describe this, is a perfect neutral beige. It’s not too warm and it’s not too cool. But always remember the colour of your lighting at home, can also affect the tone on the paint. So we always use 4000K bulbs which are a neutral light and they don’t affect the tone on the paint. Hope this helps 🤎

So my tap has a few marks, I think they are “water marks” not sure why they happen 🤷🏼‍♂️ and not too sure the best way to maintain aged brass, so if anyone knows let me know 🙏🏻 I do quite like how the brass darkens over time, it’s adds a little character 👌

One of the best decisions we made when renovating the kitchen, was adding this mirrored splashback 👌👏 it adds depth, character and opens out the space. It’s a very subtle antique bronze, so up close there are beautiful little speckles in it. A company called . supplied and fitted this for us, they were bang on, from start to finish. Highly recommend this small business 🤎

The best bit about having a showroom is I get to do this everyday 🤎😜 sooo in my element. AND … I’m still soo obsessed with this moody burgundy colour 🤩 “chestnuts in the park” by it’s a dream 👌
