A large and very special order of Beloved Bears & keepsakes left my little workshop recently… 🧸🤎

Created from the clothing of a much-loved Dad and Papa, each piece holds its own memories of someone incredibly special to his family.

At their request, I incorporated ‘his thistle’ into every keepsake… a small but meaningful detail that makes each one unmistakably his🪽

There’s something so special about taking the clothes someone once wore and transforming them into keepsakes that can be held, hugged and treasured by the people who loved them most ♥️

I hope these bring his family a little comfort and, most importantly, a feeling that a piece of their Dad and Papa is still right there with them… always 🧸

Another busy, busy week in the workshop, juggling bears, jewellery and lots of lovely keepsakes heading off to their new homes 🧸💫

It might have been another late finish tonight, but I genuinely wouldn’t want it any other way… happy customers = happy Libby 🥰

Just a wee reminder that I’m taking next week off as it’s my dance school’s annual show! 🤩 Eeeeeek!!! So I’ll be swapping thread and stuffing for costumes, choreography and ALL the sparkles… 🥴✨😂

As always, I’ll still have my phone with me and will answer any enquiries whenever I get a chance.

“Choose a job you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life…” 🥰

I’ve had the same conversation twice this week about what I do for a living, particularly considering the reason Beloved Bears began in the first place… losing my own wee Mum, followed just 18 months later by my Dad ♥️

You might think that working with other people’s precious clothing and memories every day would make grief harder… but the truth is, it’s helped me heal in more ways than I ever expected ☺️

There’s something incredibly special about taking clothing that holds so many memories and transforming it into something that can be held, hugged and treasured for years to come🧸

What began through my own loss has somehow grown into something I’m immensely proud of.

So privileged to be able to say… this is my job. 🧸♥️
