A huge thank you to everyone who attended the Ayr Antique, Vintage & Collectors Fair on Saturday. It was fantastic to see visitor numbers up on April's fair and we really do appreciate every single person who comes through the door.
We absolutely love bringing this fair to Ayr!
On the last Saturday of every month, Ayrshire College is transformed into a fantastic event for the people of South Ayrshire and beyond to enjoy. Around 30 stalls fill the hall with antiques, vintage treasures and collectables, creating a wonderful mix of interesting, unusual, quirky and beautiful items all under one roof.
Unfortunately, many of our town centres are suffering from more and more empty shops, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to find somewhere to simply go and enjoy shopping. Instead, many of us find ourselves endlessly scrolling online in what can often be a lack lustre, unsocial & 'no fun' shopping experience.
The fair is different.
Here, you can see items in real life, pick them up, get a feel for them, chat and laugh with the stallholders, hear the stories behind the pieces and maybe even haggle a price or two (you can't do that on the high street 😉).
Whether you're looking for vintage décor, jewellery, silver, gold, books, vinyl, postcards, stamps, coins, militaria, artwork, ceramics, lighting, glassware, small furniture or simply something a little unusual, there's always fresh stock waiting to find itself a new home.
