Extending the Life of a Commercial Heating System 👇

When the ageing heating system at The Glencoe Inn suffered a major failure, replacing the entire plant wasn't the only option.

Working closely with ACV, our team sourced replacement heat exchangers for the discontinued commercial oil boilers, restoring the system and avoiding the need for a full replacement. After a long shift on site, the boilers were back up and running, providing reliable heating and hot water once again.

It's another example of how the right expertise and a practical approach can deliver cost effective solutions for commercial properties.

As our Heating, Plumbing & Renewables Manager, Jim Faulds, puts it:

"Two years into this project, it's fantastic to see the design becoming a reality."

From detailed system design and client collaboration to coordinating architects, suppliers and multiple trades, every stage has been carefully planned to deliver a renewable heating solution worthy of this historic Scottish castle.

The project includes an advanced underground heat network, intelligent Building Management System (BMS) controls, more than 100 radiators and a high efficiency ETA eHack wood chip boiler, giving the client complete control while maximising efficiency and reducing energy consumption.

We're proud to be working alongside Innasol and everyone involved in bringing this ambitious project to life.
