PLEASE HELP, THIS IS REALLY URGENT

This is an incredibly important fundraising request. My friend Khaled in a Displacement Camp in Gaza is having an essential eye operation on Thursday. He desperately needs eye drops so he can prepare his eyes in time. They cost $340... that is what black market is doing in Gaza. I've been speaking with him today and he's desperate.

Khaled is blind and father of baby Nana. He needs what little sight he has left. Despite the "ceasefire" shells have been found on the camp, looting of aid and profiteering is still rife. They are living still on unclean water and lentils. Life has not improved for them. I've included a photo of Khaled and Nana below, a photo of his little neighbour with the bullet he just found next to their tent and a video of Nana's meal.

PLEASE PLEASE help. This is incredibly urgent. Every penny helps.

So here we are my lovely Resinistas... 2020 has been a difficult year for many of us. I just wanted to wish you all a much happier 2021.

This year I started 13ResinsWhy. I'm still amazed at the response and I can't thank you all enough for that. But I definitely won't be sad to see the back of this year! 😉

But there will be lots of exciting things coming in 2021 for 13ResinsWhy. 😊

Well hello there my lovely Resinistas. It's been a very strange year hasn't it? A very sad one for so many too. 😞

I'm not sure how many of you know how and when 13ResinsWhy came about? In May I was furloughed for 3 weeks and I thought I may as well try something I'd been meaning to for years to keep myself sane.🦠 A couple of years before I'd put a resin jewellery kit on my Amazon Wishlist. So I bought it.

I spent a few days playing and made a few pretty nice bits. 📿So I made some for my friends and family to cheer them up. And people started asking me to make things for them. So after less than 4 weeks, on the 27th May, I opened my Etsy shop. And thanks to my friend Sarah, I got a rather catchy name... And my friend Sally made me a fab logo from a gothed up pic of me.🧛‍♀️

Since then I've made over 300 sales on Etsy, another 80 or so commissions. 🎉I'm lucky enough to work full time too, and it's been a challenge at times, staying up well past bedtime to finish pieces. But it's all been worth it. 🍾

And it's been you guys, my lovely customers who have turned my little Lockdown sanity-saver into a little cottage industry. So for that I thank you from the bottom of my black little heart. 🖤

So 7 months in, my pretties are getting more intricate, and I'll have some lovely new pieces to show you in 2021 (please god let it be a better year for us all)... But until then, I just wanted to wish you the absolute biggest Merry Christmas 🎅, Happy Holidays🎉, Yuletide Blessings 🎄and just loads of bloody love! ❤️

A little earlier this year, Jenni contacted me to ask if I could make her a very special piece of jewellery. She got it yesterday so I can share with her permission now.

Jenni wanted a necklace containing some of a loved one's ashes. She wanted an Egyptology theme, so after discussions, we settled on a cartouche and a black and gold theme.

So this is Jenni's pendant, so she can keep her loved one with her and close to her heart. It was such an honour to be asked, and trusted, with something so important. Thank you Jenni. Xx
