Curiosity got the better of me 🎪🃏✨

Yesterday was all about playtime in the studio. No plans, no rules, just me and my ever-growing collection of weird and wonderful treasures.

Vintage porcelain clowns, cheeky jokers, curious little ceramics and forgotten oddities, all finding themselves a new home in one gloriously eccentric wreath.

A little kitsch, a little curious, a little wonderfully unhinged.

Because sometimes the best creations come from simply having a play. 🩷🧡

Would you rather make these at home or come along to a workshop? 👀✨

I’ve still got such a soft spot for gilding, so I’m thinking about putting together a wee Gilded Claw Feet Kit 3 concrete claw feet, everything you need to gild them, plus a simple video showing you how.

They can be used indoors or outdoors too the red ones in this video have actually been sitting outside all year! ❤️

What a fabulous day spent teaching these wonderful ladies how to make their very own cake & display stands. One lady brought their own vintage family china which was over 34 years old as they had everything but a cake stand and after drilling every piece herself she now has that unique one of a kind piece that can now be on display every day. One lady couldn’t wait to go home & find what else they could drill holes in 😂. Thank you to everyone who came today and to the lovely owners whose shop was perfect for my workshop.
