It’s located in the courtyard of Forge Coffee located in the pretty village of Culworth ( OX17 2AZ) . The cafe serves lovely treats, drinks and is dog 🐕 and family friendly too ☕️ 🧋🧁

Sourcing out vintage and antiques pieces for your home, isn’t about following trends (which I’ve never been very good at) it’s about creating a space that’s uniquely yours and having fun sourcing the pieces - a good rummage through a vintage and antiques shop or a fair, thrifting through charity shops and carboots create opportunities to find things that can inspire ideas for your home and pieces you will love forever. Antiques and vintage pieces carry such history, craftsmanship, and character that can’t be replicated. While trends come and go, antiques, vintage and timeworn pieces remain timeless, giving your home a soul, your own story to pass on and not just a trend style.

This is how Gathered Home was created a passion or maybe the word is addiction 🫣for sourcing and putting together timeless pieces.

Would you gift 🎁 something that wasn’t new this Christmas ?

Ummm 🤔…I can see how this isn’t for everyone. But don’t you think there is something wonderful about finding that little piece of history, something cherished and repurposing it? An old pretty tin for you to fill full of homemade treats, a classic vintage decanter given with a homemade bottle of sloe gin. A handmade willow basket turned into a hamper or a lovely little old painting in a gilt frame - all these things ain’t as expensive as you think and hunting for these unique finds is half the fun of giving. So have a think this Christmas when giving and considered that pre loved cherished unique gift to give to that unique person in your life 💞

Be kind to yourself when shopping it’s getting busy so don’t forget treat yourself too ☺️

The log burner 🔥is on at Forge Coffee in Culworth, the coffee ☕️ is gorgeous as are the sweet 🍰 and savoury treats. Combined that with a browse around my barn shop located in their courtyard - a little place full of treasures for your home, Interesting pieces, decorative finds, homewear, mixed in with vintage finds, painted furniture and the a few antiques and you might get inspired to add something to your home or gift something sustainable.
