You know if I'm back working at this house, that another video is incoming 👀

Been back to this install to finish off with two mains powered Somfy skylight Duette Blinds..these are a little trickier and take a lot of patience, but luckily I have quite a lot of that 😂

So pleased with how all of this turned out, this is about as bespoke as blinds get, and I'm delivering results my clients are more than happy with, and I am privileged to be able to work in villages/properties like this every day 🙌

Real Paulownia wood shutters fitted in this beautiful house yesterday 🙌

So much better than the old vertical blinds, wooden shutters look so perfect in these bay windows and are just the finishing touch that these rooms needed 😍

Fitting wasn't easy, nothing was straight but it's so worth the hard work 🛠️

The evenings are drawing in, the sun is shining slightly lower, and shutters are the perfect window dressing for this time of year! 🌤️

Unfortunately the Christmas cutoff has now passed for real wood, but there's still a chance for composite shutters in time for family visits and cosy evenings 🍂

Look at that grain 😍

It's great fitting white shutters, but it's nice to change it up every now and again 🙌

I can't believe people are still falling for this!! 😭

I went to see a lady yesterday, she just wanted one small blind...I was more than happy to oblige, but the trouble was she had only had a new blind fitted on the same window 2 weeks ago!

A certain nationwide firm had been in, sold her a blind that she couldn't reach to operate, it was spring loaded and constantly flung itself up to the top of the window on its own...this blind wasn't included in the 50% off promotion because it was a blackout blind, but it did include 20% off... apparently...and still ended up costing her £300.00...£300.00 for one small blind, the fitter went off on holiday after her complaint and she was left with a blind she didn't want..suffice to say she was refunded eventually and returned the blind ✅

and I still see people recommending this company on local business pages! 😭

I was able to quote her under half that price, for a better product that will suit her needs and her window better, she will deal with me, and only me, and should any problems arise (which believe it or not, sometimes they do! 😂) I will deal with it swiftly, and with constant communication 🙌

Please use your local businesses!

Really proud of how this one turned out over in Balscote, this is about as bespoke as it gets! 😎

I fitted a mix of custom-shaped and standard freehanging Duette® honeycomb blinds. The combination of that rich Deep Balsam fabric against the Anthracite hardware looks unreal in person.

A few favourite details from the job:

☀️Tailored light: Total blackout fabric for the bedroom windows, with soft light-filtering through the rest of the house.

☀️Completely wire-free: Powered by whisper-quiet Somfy battery motors (a quick 2–3 hour charge gives around 6–9 months of use).

☀️Smart living: All linked up to the Somfy TaHoma hub, so the customer can control everything from their phone or set automatic timers.

Shaped windows can be tricky, but getting the fit spot-on is always the most satisfying part of the job.

If you’re thinking about upgrading your windows with something premium, give me a shout!

(photo was a very late afterthought 😂)

But thanks to for choosing me to supply and install their clinical, wipeable roller blind (front left window 😂)

It will help ensure a clean and controlled environment 🧼
