💚 THIS MONTH'S FREE WORKSHOP 💚

Come down to EcoForge this Saturday to have a bash at either one (or both!) these crafts 👇

Here at The Forge we value traditional skills and finger loop weaving has been used since THE MIDDLE AGES!

Historically, finger weaved cords were used to lace up corsets, doublets, and shoes

But you can use your braided cords for whatever you like!

I'm sure that many of you will have had a go at French knitting - it was a fun skill that some of our directors learned in school 😱

Using a simple contraption with pins, French knitting quickly works up a rope with a hollow core that's flexible, durable, and very useful!

No complicated stitches to learn, no knitting needles flying all over the place, no stress - just a calm traditional craft to settle into 🥰

So come down to EcoForge on Saturday to get stuck in 🧶
