Good morning everyone

One programme full of negativity.
One person offloading their mood on you.

And before you know it, you feel heavy and you don’t even know why.

So be picky this weekend.

Turn it off.
Scroll past.
Mute it.
Walk away.
Don’t answer if you don’t want to.

And don’t sit there soaking up someone else’s bad energy like it’s your job.

It isn’t.

You’re allowed to protect your own head.

You’re allowed to have a peaceful weekend.

You’re allowed to say,

“Nope, not taking that on today.”

Put music on.
Get a brew.
Potter about.
Go outside.
Sing if you want to.
Dance in the kitchen if the mood takes you.

Do something that makes your energy feel like yours again.

The world can be noisy.

You don’t have to let it live in your weekend.

Happy Saturday everyone
I'm still on my recovery journey, its going to take a long time and the chemotherapy toxicity may have caused permanent damage to my Kdneys. I'm seeing my Oncologist on Mondat and I have a phone call with my Dr. on Wednesday.
In the meantime I shall continue making my bears and hares.
Dare I say the Christmas word?
I have Christmas Stockings waiting to be cut out.
I will be selling in our shop, at Craft Markets and on Etsy (I am just opening a shop)

Its Friday and its going to be hot, hot, hot We will take our dog out shortly so he gets a walk before the heat arrives....

Today I am printing out embroidery A4 templates onto sticky solvy paper. This saves me so much time, not having to trace, pin and transfer onto my material

Wait a minute, where did the weekend go?
Hello everyone, hello Monday.
My car is going in for its MOT and service
Fingers crossed all goes well.
Later this week I have more blood tests lets hope my levels are nearly normal.
Our small garden at our shop needs some TLC so that is a job for today. Nothing too strenuous

Sunday is always a special day to me. I grew up in a time that Sundays were family days, a big roast dinner after a walk with our dog over the hills near where we lived in Lancashire.
Today that is a long way from. Then, I now live in West Sussex, a gentler environment and way of life. - im showing my age
Today we are going to tge Widfowl and Wetlands and then lunch out

My journey continues. Its four weeks today since my operation for lung cancer. I will not lie, Its been tough. Good days and bad. The nights are the worst when the darkness closes in.
I've had a bit of a setback, as I had a call from my consultant on Friday.
I now have to have a course of chemotherapy. Although they believe they have got it all out, when they did the pathology they found mixed cells and some were micropapillary adenocarcinoma which means these are more aggressive cancer cells and there is a bigger chance of it coming back, hence the chemotherapy. I will see the Oncologist at the beginning of April to discuss my treatment.
