A few copper patina peices from the last week or so. The fossil effect is a 70 cm diameter table top .

Rust patina table top, made using three reclaimed hardwood planks

The planks were prepared and edged, ready for joining into a tabletop.

Rust patina was created on the individual planks, sealed and then joined to make the top .

200 cm x 90 cm x 30 mm

Was a bit apprehensive about trying to base a piece on a recent visit to Westward Ho .

Pleased with it though almost looks like a painting.

Iron and copper applied to reclaimed wood , different concentrations of vinegar and salt produce the colour 👍

Nearly there 🙂 this has taken a while to get to this point and the result is better than I hoped.

It's a 200 cm x 90 cm reclaimed hardwood top made from 3 planks with a rust and copper patina added for ref 😆

The photo makes it look more black than it is , looking forward to sealing and getting it in some better light 📸

Thought I would try adding copper patina to oak driftwood, think it worked out 🙂
