This stunning ceiling rose had taken a serious fall - broken into pieces and covered in layers of old paint. Instead of reaching for harsh paint st*****rs that risk damaging the delicate details, we took a more careful approach.

🔹 A precise silicone mould captured the original craftsmanship

✨ Cornice Restoration in Glasgow’s West End ✨

Check out this beautiful cornice restoration project we completed in Glasgow’s West End! 🏛️ The decorative cornice above the window had been missing for ages, but we brought it back to life with our expert restoration skills.

For this project, we carefully removed the wallpaper and created silicone moulds for each of the seven unique elements of the cornice. The walls had been skimmed with an extra layer of material, so we made sure the new cornice aligned perfectly with the original.

We recently had the opportunity to work on a beautiful property in Mount Florida, Glasgow, undertaking a full renovation that included removing ceilings and replastering walls. Some of the original cornice elements had become loose and fallen off — a common issue during extensive renovations.

💪 With over 30 years of experience in , we took on the challenge. We carefully removed paint from each of the eight distinct cornice elements, created custom silicone moulds, and restored the missing lengths.
The result? A seamless blend of new and original structure, preserving the architectural beauty of the property. The transformation speaks for itself, and the client couldn’t be happier!
