Tall larder cabinets are brilliant even with a cat in the way 🙄🙄 but internal drawers make them even better 🙌

Everything is easy to see, easy to reach and beautifully organised, with no more searching around at the back of the cupboard.

Although today’s demonstration was slightly interrupted by a curious little kitten… 🙈🐈

Modern kitchen design is all about combining beautiful simplicity with clever technology.

Powerful extraction is neatly integrated above the hob, efficiently removing steam, odours and airborne grease without the need for an oversized extractor dominating the room.

🔥 Induction cooking has come a long way…

Modern induction hobs aren’t just fast, efficient and beautifully sleek — they’re incredibly versatile too.

In this video, I’m demonstrating the Flex Zones on our Gaggenau induction hob, giving you the freedom to cook with far more than just a traditional saucepan.

🥩 Searing on a griddle plate
🔥 Teppanyaki-style cooking
🍲 Even using a large roasting dish directly on the hob

The flexible cooking zones recognise larger cookware and give you the space to cook your way — whether that’s a quick midweek meal or entertaining a houseful.

Great kitchen design isn’t just about how your kitchen looks. It’s about making it work brilliantly too.

🗑️ Let’s talk bins… yes, bins! 😄

It might not be the most glamorous part of your new kitchen, but a well-designed integrated waste system is absolutely essential.

At ULMO Kitchens, we use the Ninka waste system — neatly hidden away, easy to use and designed to make recycling and everyday waste effortless.

And there’s a clever little detail we love… the Bio Lifter, helping to keep food waste contained and unwanted smells at bay. 👌

Because great kitchen design isn’t just about how your kitchen looks — it’s about how brilliantly it works every single day.
