A lovely order made last night for a customers gender reveal 🍼👶 ❤️

A customer reached out to us to make 10 gender reveal cards, with scratch off panels that reveal the babies gender! 🤩

83 of those little hearts per card glued by hand…830 in total 😅

The customer sent us the gender details privately so then wouldn’t know…and all will be kept a secret until the big reveal 🤐🎉🎊

For a small business like us, where the vast majority of our products are sent via Royal Mail, this is very sad to read. 😔

If there was another option or company we could use, we would.

Prices are increasing to a point where the postage costs more than the actual card 😱

Royal Mail is prioritising their parcels over letters, meaning important documents such as hospital appointments letters are just sitting there. 😢

Staff and customers tell the BBC prioritising parcels can mean missed NHS appointments and late payment fines.

We know Black Friday is everywhere right now — popping up like confetti at a party. But here at Craftacular Creations, we won’t be taking part… and we wanted to share why (with a few puns sprinkled in, of course!).

Our handmade cards are lovingly designed, die-cut, and coloured by hand — no giant machines, no big factories, no multi-million-pound budgets… just little old us, doing what we love and pouring our hearts into every card. 💛✂️

While huge corporations can slash prices faster than we can sharpen a craft knife, small businesses like ours simply can’t compete — and honestly, we don’t want to. We’d rather spend this season uplifting other makers, creators, local shops and passionate independents who put the art in heartfelt. ❤️

So instead of Black Friday…
