Hi, I’m Vicki and I run Maggie B, with support from my husband and lively son who was born in 2012. I set up Maggie B in 2013 as a way of getting back into ‘work’ after having been made redundant early on in my pregnancy. The idea came about because of my son. As the weather turned colder, I wanted a beautiful, soft, and, most importantly, natural blanket to wrap him in. To my dismay, the majority
of the blankets on the market were either made from manmade fibres or just weren’t soft enough, and those which fitted the bill were so expensive. I eventually found a beautiful range of blankets and realised that there might be other parents out there who would want the same quality and luxury but who weren’t prepared to pay such high prices. At Maggie B we stock:
• Soft Merino Lambswool baby blankets and cushions.
• Traditional and contemporary throws, blankets and cushions made from pure wool, lambswool and mohair.
• Stylish, soft merino lambswool scarves in a range of colours to suit any occasion. We can also place orders for a wide range of items and colours which are not held in stock – these may take a little longer to deliver but are more than worth the wait! All Maggie B products are made in the UK from 100% pure wool. Our suppliers include a mill that has been manufacturing woollen products since the 1800s and weavers who have been creating fine woollen products in the West of England for over 30 years.
