Ad I’ve come such a long way in the last few years, and learning to love food again has genuinely been life changing.

Something I never thought I’d say is that I actually look forward to cooking, eating and finding new ways to fuel my body. Our CREAMi has made it even more fun, turning our favourite ingredients and flavours into everything from delicious ice cream to high protein post-workout treats.
It might sound like such a small thing, but after years of having such a difficult relationship with food, being able to enjoy it without overthinking everything as much means more than I can explain.

And the fact that I can now have homemade ice cream waiting for me after the gym is a pretty lovely bonus 🥹

My husband and I agree on nearly everything, but never decide on what to watch on TV! Luckily gives us recommendations on what to watch and Sky Ultimate TV gives us Disney+, HBO Max, Netflix, Hayu and Sky TV under one subscription, so we can watch whatever we fancy, easily, in one place, whenever we want! When we were younger we didn’t see positive, happy examples of same-sex love, because it wasn’t able to be shown in the way it is today. With a voice and platform, our goal has been to show people afraid to be themselves, of any age, that a life of happiness and acceptance is possible. We wouldn’t be able to live this life, as husbands, without the countless sacrifices of so many people before. We owe those people our whole lives and need to make sure we’re honouring their legacy and continuing to want and fight for change, until we live in a world without hate based on who someone loves.

I know there’s no rule book for parenting or how to best communicate with young people, but there are certain things I believe most, if not all, gay men heard growing up which they didn’t have to. I am, personally, very fortunate to have the support of my family, a privilege I know many others aren’t given. That doesn’t mean things weren’t said in my childhood that made it harder for me to accept who I was. A follower asked how they could show their children that they accept them unconditionally. I reassured them that by asking the question, they’re already doing the right thing. Intention is everything, and being able to listen, not judge and love your child regardless of who they love is the most important thing ❤️
