🍋✨ Training Day Treats at Flamingo Cake Co ✨🍰

We had the pleasure of baking for a recent training event and created this light, fluffy lemon sponge – specially made with guests in mind who have nut and dairy allergies. Everyone deserves great cake, after all 💛

We also brought along an apple cinnamon and a rich chocolate cake, so there was something for every sweet tooth!

The lemon sponge was very well received… and yes, the word “moist” was discussed at length 😄 Not everyone loves the word, but when it comes to cake, we think it’s exactly what it should be! Soft, tender, and full of flavour 🍋✨

There was just a little slice left over… so naturally I put the kettle on and enjoyed a well-earned cuppa ☕🍰
