A few behind-the-scenes moments from Courtney Avenue. From bespoke plasterwork to material and finish decisions, we developed every detail as part of the architecture, not as an afterthought.

At Courtney Avenue, the decorative details were developed as part of the architecture itself.

From the fireplace surround to the mouldings and plasterwork, each element was considered in relation to the proportions and character of the room. Drawing on a classical language, but made specifically for this home.

A little throwback to Miami.

I take a lot of photos when I travel, not always of the obvious things. A colour combination, a shopfront, a floor, a ceiling, an unexpected material. Most of them stay in the back of my mind until something clicks on a project later.

A few things that caught my eye along the way.

The sketch is where we start testing the proportions, the relationship between spaces and the ideas that will eventually shape the whole interior.
