A little throwback to Miami.

I take a lot of photos when I travel, not always of the obvious things. A colour combination, a shopfront, a floor, a ceiling, an unexpected material. Most of them stay in the back of my mind until something clicks on a project later.

When a room starts as little more than a shell, every
decision has to work harder.

For this North London space, we’re building the scheme
layer by layer, panelling, pattern, joinery, lighting and
furniture, with each element designed to add character
without competing with the next.

The render shows where it’s heading: layered, expressive
and still completely cohesive.

For this project in Spain, the landscape became the focal point. Each interior was designed to frame it rather than compete with it.

I’ve always loved arches. Bringing them into my own kitchen sounded simple enough, until we found the beam. One door became one of the biggest challenges of the renovation. The building always gets a say.
