Day 25 of 30 day clutter challenge….Plants.

apparently plants are the new midlife crisis….and im there!

it is important to pick quality over quantity.
its better to have 10 perfect plants than 30 actively dying ones.

Placing plants at various angles and heights helps to break up the group and create depth.

Remember clutter is subjective so if you enjoy plants and they have a clear allocated space, plants are your friend not your clutter.

Day 24. Toys!!

Toys are a major part of home clutter and its so easy to get to an overwhelming point!

i am very strict with my toy edits, i do this every 3 months and i never have less than 2 black sacks to bin or donate.

if they arent currently playing with it but its sentimental then pack it up and bring it out in 3 months, if its broken bin it and if its not broken or being played with get it on vinted or donate it.

your child will become easily over stimulated with too many toys and once the collection is organised and visible it will change the way they play.

Day 22 Towels

Every clients linen cupboard has a different inventory and space.

Start with an edit of all old,
unused and tatty towels as many items get shoved at the back and are never used.

keep all towels in size order ( large bath, bath, hand etc)

Pick a universal fold( long fold, short fold or roll ) depending on your space.

if you have space at the top you can keep a small old towel section for leaks, rainy days and wet animals.
