As it’s now carnival season and for some reason upper Blyburgate wasn’t included in the town bunting, we decided to do our own! The very clever pip.painted came up with the design, which we are in love with. Thanks Pip.

This is a lovely piece, a cameo vase by Okra, designed by Sarah Cowan and executed by Richard Golding, the founder of Okra and regarded as one of the best glass makers of the late 20th century, signed with the initials of both designer and maker, a hard to find and desirable piece.
