Warkworth's own Linda Gaskell will be joining us at the first of our two Christmas Markets at Warkworth Memorial Hall on the 14th November. Linda's art work captures the beauty of local buildings and the meanings they have for you.
Not content with capturing local buildings she can also capture your home, your wedding venue, and the places that really have a connection to you through her commissions.

7th November our last market for the year at Bedlington Community Centre. Little old me trying to put Bedlington back on the map.

Why I believe Bedlington deserves a market filled with talented local makers.

I am a Bedlington lass born and bred, and over the last 40 years I have watched the retail opportunities leave us while our community grows.

And honestly I think we deserve better.

I believe Bedlington has the potential of that of other local towns and deserves places people can browse, discover something new and different and also a place to meet friends and neighbours. The way our m**s did when we were kids.

I have fond memories of the market in Bedlington and while I can't bring back the 80's & 90's (as much as I want to) I can offer something along similar lines and help support local businesses and local communities.

I believe the residents of Bedlington deserve the same quality shopping experience of other thriving local towns. Which is why I started the Market at Bedlington Community Centre.

It's been a challenge but one I was willing to take on for the sake of the residents. as we approach the last one for 2026 its not over. Our Market will be back in 2027 starting in March.
