Glorious today - 20 degrees. When I told the Saint Lucians that this was hot for us - they couldn't believe it lol.

Yesterday I was contemplating when I might have my book finished. With over 50 chapters and taking at least one day to edit and proof each chapter etc - that means at least another 50 days going forward. Therefore the end of May is unrealistic - perhaps i should set end of July as my goal...

A quick update just to touch base really.

Not much achieved since coming back from holiday. I have started revising and editing my book and have the prologue and first two chapters where I want them (I think).

Hopefully I'll be back on form soon and will be able to get back to dancing 💃

We have a few things to sort out first though...

the shower has leaked and taken out the light downstairs 💧💡

the garden has taken a beating in the storm that happened as we left on holiday and the pergola has collapsed 😏 you can see it in the back of the picture below along with the visitor who triggered the camera 🐝

Oh and I've hurt my ribs 😔 so no dancing for a little while 😭

A quick update.

No more painting for a few weeks - looking forward to some quality time with Family.

First draft of Scifi novel is finished. I've started the first full edit to spruce up dialogue, descriptions and ensure consistency for character development. Excited to get on with that 😃 if anyone fancies beta reading the next draft then please dm me. I'm aiming for the end of May.

Unfortunately I may have to limit my computer time - my right hand started swelling on Tuesday and the pain has been unbearable. Not sure if I've just knocked it or it's carpal tunnel. Either way it's just starting to get back to normal. Doing nothing for the past few days has been torture 😞

In other news, book is going well but I doubt if it'll be finished by the end of March. I'm going to aim for end of May instead.

More work on Lisa. Looks like she's got a dirty face at the moment lol 😆 but more pinks and light greys should sort that...

Hair is coming along but I sense more colour will have to be added before I can pare it back. Today I've added some dark blue which helps to give depth before topping with browns and black.
