We’ll admit it, we were on the fence about checkerboard making a comeback. It’s a pattern we’ve seen reused, adapted, and reimagined in nearly every way possible. Or so we thought.

This time it feels a little more grown up. Less loud maximalism, more visual comfort.

Here, we clashed it against other geometrics rather than leaving it to do its own thing. Drawing on softer tones, more texture, and a bit of visual chaos to land it somewhere between playful and put-together.

Last week we had the joy of four work experience students joining us in the studio!

We know a thing or two about design, yet there’s something so refreshing about watching creatives who haven’t learnt to doubt themselves yet trust their instincts. There’s a confidence in those first ideas we’d love to unlearn our way back to.

It was great having them with us and we can’t wait to see what this wonderful bunch create in the future.
