Well don’t Áine and Méabh Boylan look great in their new hats!

Knitted in the colours of Glenullin GAC in a mixture of Donegal wool (the gold) and Shetland wool (the green). A commission from my fellow trader . Managed to get them knit up in time for the all Ireland final last Sunday. Sadly the win was not meant to be 😞

My latest commission: a hat for retired diver, Ray. A Christmas present from the ever glam . In ye olden days divers wore red hats (no idea why red) but remember Jacques Cousteau? Never without his red hat.

Ray wanted no other details; just the blue sea and red sky. I had my doubts but it works really well, don’t you think?

Once upon a time there was a dachshund called Bear.

Bear woke up one morning and his legs wouldn’t work.

Bear’s mummy brought him to a clever doctor called Noel who carried out a very big operation and now Bear can stand up again and even walk a few steps!

Bear’s mummy is very grateful. However Bear continues with his brat-like behaviour and is a very naughty boy.

My cuz .stardust.33 commissioned a hat for as a small thank you. Paw print pattern seemed appropriate as did the green, white and gold colours. The hat is knitted in beautiful Donegal wool from . This pattern is one of my favourites to knit.

I hope Noel likes it - from the size of his smile I’d say he does!
