Happy Ruby Wedding Anniversary to Carolyn & John.

This arrangement features the Red Bunria from the Capes of Africa. In floriography, the way hundreds of tiny, intense crimson flower buds pack together tightly to form a single, robust cluster represents condensed, passionate emotion. It beautifully reflects a love that has grown deeper and more concentrated over 40 years.

Child got invited to a Halloween Themed Craft play date. She wanted to bring something for her friend so I rustled together an exploding floral pumpkin. She was absolutely delighted. It is so lovely seeing a child’s face light up when they receive flowers. Off course I had to use yellow as the symbol of Friendship.

Mainly popping in to say that I only have one spot for early next week. Then il be downing tools for while to recoup before a lovely wedding and Christmas prep as this season is set to be a busy one and I want to get a head start to avoid burn out.

These flowers hold a special message for a wonderful woman, daughter, mother, friend.

Yellow dahlia flowers are a profoundly meaningful gift for a woman going through a difficult time. In the language of flowers, dahlias are unique symbols of inner strength, resilience, and dignity because of their remarkable ability to stand strong and continue blooming late into autumn long after other flowers have faded. When paired with the bright, warm hue of yellow, which universally represents hope, comfort, and the warmth of a new sunrise.
Pampa Grass is a symbol of resilience. With the bunny tail grass holding a symbol of rebirth and renewal.
The pine cone is a symbol of resurrection with the lotus seed head teaching us to see the beauty in change and letting go of things that no longer serve us or drain our energy and focus of what is truly important.

I know that the sunflower is a very special flower to the senders of this gift. I was able to get the very last of the season from the same crop that grew their wedding flowers.

Where the dahlias holding very similar meanings it is more understated quite endurance. The sunflower represents a bold, active pursuit of healing and light.

For Sandra.
The last thing on Sandra’s mind today was that it was her Birthday.
Her loving husband who not that long ago sent his wife Wedding Anniversary flowers. Was rushed into Hospital.
Before this happened he had already preordered her Birthday Flowers.
He knew she loved my flowers, despite ill health he is always thinking of her.
We often dont feel like celebrating anything when people we love our suffering. Those who are suffering don’t want you to stop feeling joy & pleasure.
You can bring joy to those in pain by seeing you smile and the knowledge that they were able to release a little burden .

I got to spend the evening with the wonderful GB Juniors . Creating floral pumpkins to celebrate Harvest.
My youngest ever group and I am so impressed by these wonderful girls who where really engaged in the task. With a few wanting to become a florist after they seen what they had created. They should all be so proud.

🎃The Pumpkin represents God’s Provision: Pumpkins grow from tiny seeds into huge, vibrant fruits. They are a visual reminder of how God provides fertile soil, rain, and sunshine to grow food that sustains us.
💐The Flowers represent the Beauty of Creation: Adding flowers shows that God doesn't just provide what we need to survive; He also fills the world with beauty, colour, and joy for us to enjoy.

🎁The Gift represents Generosity: Giving the creation to their families mirrors the harvest tradition of sharing our blessings. It teaches the girls to use their talents to bring joy to others.

For Linda
Linda recently lost her lifelong friend and neighbour who sadly passed away. The family of the deceased wanted to let her know they are thinking of her. To help her overcome the huge transition of getting new neighbours .
I think we can all relate to the feeling dread of the unknown. Especially when no one can compare or replace the bond of your good neighbour.
I attached a little plaque that says
“Good Neighbours are like Stars , you might not always see them , but you always know they are there “. I give this to Linda to remind her that just because her friend is no longer next door to see. She is always there with her. I believe that she is listening to her and will forever remain in her heart and mind until they meet again.
Many different flowers were used in her arrangement that convey friendship, happy memories, gratitude & renewal. I researched and was delighted when I got the perfect flower for Linda . The lilic Canterbury Bell.
The “Return of a Friend”: In traditional floriography, a classic meaning of Canterbury bells is “the return of a friend is desired”. While they cannot bring a loved one back, they beautifully capture the deep longing, love, and aching void left behind by a true companion.

Bouquet Reveal
When I arrived Laura was breastfeeding Baby Sol, enjoying a special relaxed time before the excitement of the Day.
I haven’t shared the video only the audio, as it really does capture that true motherly love. That even the normal stress and panic most Brides face on their wedding morning. Laura Monreal Frey focus is primarily on her baby. So much so that she barely looked at her own Bouquet at the time and got so excited to present her little flower girl with her posy. That held the Sun-Ray Dahlia specifically picked just for her. Because "Sol" literally translates to "Sun," this specific bloom serves as a living reflection of her name and her radiant role in the family.
For a flower girl Sol, carrying these blooms symbolises that she is the bright light and warmth of her parents' lives.
For Laura & Pablo the Dahlias stand for a lifelong commitment, devotion, and an unbreakable bond between two people.

For Laura.
I often glance at many of the Mummies walking by the shop and stopping to have a wee look in the window. It always makes me smile as I recall doing the same with my baby, stopping at fleuriste. Well this particular Mummy came in with her beautiful baby and told me she was getting Married. We chatted for ages not just about weddings until the baby woke. Later she got in-touch asking me to create her florals. I was absolutely delighted.
I wanted Laura’s bouquet to really reflect her natural beauty and the style of their intimate wedding. Thou it was small it was exquisite with the ceremony at Ulster Museum with reception at the award winning SHU Restaurant Belfast
Knowing that her Husband’s heritage is Mexican I had to use Mexicos National flower. I am so fortunate to avail of the very best locally grown chem free dahlias from Sow Grateful Flower Farm as well as the beautiful cosmos. The word cosmos means an orderly universe. At a wedding, it signifies two lives coming together to create a perfectly balanced, peaceful, and harmonious home.
One single pink rose was added to mark their baby girl. she is also highly represented in the floral choice of the Bridesmaids bouquets as well as her own little posy that I will tell in another post.
