Amelie and her buddy Henry spent two very successful hours cleaning the beach at Loughshore Park today. It was great to see that the beach was fairly clean - mostly baby wipes and cotton bud plastic sticks. We also came upon a dead otter. Sad that it was dead but gives a little hope to seeing some exciting wildlife in Belfast Lough.
Amelie has met her fundraising target which is fantastic. A big thank you to Ger who stopped to chat and donated some money too! A big well done to Amelie and Henry for their hard work today 🙌🙌

My lovely daughter, Amelie, is doing a beach clean tomorrow at Loughshore Park to raise funds for Go Mad in Tanzania. Amelie is going to Tanzania in July to help build water systems and goat sheds. Go Mad in Tanzania has been working there for many years improving basic facilities for local people. We appreciate things are tight for everyone but if you could donate £1 that would be amazing! Or pop down on Saturday to say hello! Thank you 😊

May and June's classes are live and kicking on the website. We've been blown away by how in demand our classes have been - it's been simply brilliant! We've included a Saturday morning mixed Knitting and Crochet from Complete Beginners onwards. As our Saturday afternoon class is always oversubscribed this will hopefully fill that gap 😀
