About to set up for this year's show We have brought along our firm favourites of Traditions, Faerie Folk and Banbha, but may have an exciting addition of 4ply with us too! We also have two gorgeous new patterns being released this weekend at the show from and ! See you at stand I35-36. For those unable to make it to Skipton, the shop in Belfast is still open, and we even left some tweed in it! 🧶

It's the Biggie! And the Bestie! Yarndale is just simply hard to beat. It's full on, it's loud, it's exciting, it's a little smelly BUT we absolutely love it 💕💕💕🙌🙌🙌 If you are pondering whether you should come along take this as a sign! We are now packed up and on our way home after the first festival of Autumn. It was so lovely catching up with fellow vendors and returning customers in Perth. We had some great conversations with new found friends, and as always we've had a blast on our first roadtrip of the season. Also very pleased to report that our new range, Lore was very well received, we'll need to be winding some more of that pronto!

Kirsty and I are leaving tomorrow morning at some unearthly hour to head to our beloved Scotland! On Saturday and Sunday we are vending at the Scottish Yarn Festival in Perth. We really can't tell you how much we love doing shows across the water and Perth has a special little spot in our hearts. We stay in the quirky Scone Airport in little old RAF houses. We can watch the Air Ambulance come and go and little acrobat planes zipping about upside down! The food offering in Perth is superb and hopefully the amazing Lebanese restaurant will have a table free. And if you are into your yarns then this is an eclectic yet bespoke festival, something for everyone. We would love to see you there if you get the opportunity (and we are bringing a brand new pattern and sample AND our new Lore 4 ply range!! 🤫) ❤️

Whoever thought we might need another Donegal Tweed range? Well, frankly, it was me! But Kirsty agrees it is a great addition to our shop. Say hello to Lore 👋👋👋 It's a 4 ply yarn (400m per 100g). Similar to our Faerie Folk yarn is a merino mohair blend so it's perfect for socks and colour work. It still has the lanolin in it so it will need a wet blocking at the end to make it sing and bloom. We are so happy to bring this to our shop. It's up on the website, it's on the shelves in the shop. Come and show it some love 💕💕💕

Now this is something a little different today! We are at the Irish National Sheepdog Trials in Stewartstown. It's a truly beautiful setting. Hopefully they'll be just as happy buying wool as they are chasing it around a field 😆
It's a proper family day out!

The new 'Make It' range is simply one of the most wonderful little products around at the minute! Little strands to either hold double with your favourite yarn or use on its own to create a delicate fabric. We've knitted up this fab sample showing twenty rows of garter stitch and twenty rows of stocking stitch. We've used one ball of Drops Kidsilk in Off White. It's really quite incredible to the differences in colour and the subtlety in decoration. We absolutely love them all! And this is only a very small selection of a magnificent collection we have in the shop! There are so many variations to choose from. We think this is a game changer ❤️
